As a veteran of concerts and concert films, this is greatness

Gimme Shelter. Stop Making Sense. Don't Look Back. Woodstock. These are some of the greatest concert films ever. 'Homecoming' belongs in this same conversation, in perfect honesty. Beyoncé Knowles-Carter directs and stars, and makes this film her own. Her performance is truly live and mindblowingly complex, and her filmmaker's point of view is, interestingly, her own. The stage show is often shot in striking closeups and quick wide shots that remind us that yeah, this was shot at Coachella, which is pretty bloody far from being a small venue. Beyoncé is in complete control, from the first count-off....As film director, as musical director, as performer, as artist, Homecoming is a fully-operational, deadly strong Beyoncé, and it's something to see.

Just Wow!!

This was the most incredible performance I've seen, and I watched it from my living room. The amount of culture represented in this film and in this performance was just beautiful and brought me to tears. In my living room I felt the immense culture and overall feeling that this performance gave, and I can't imagine what it would have felt like in person. I'm not black, but the feeling of unity and equality and just everything in this film was overwhelming. Beyonce showcases such amazing black talent. Those who are leaving poor reviews obviously missed the point when they say it was about Beyonce only. It was, and it wasn't. Beyonce has worked HARD for this, and she deserves the recognition. But this film also recognizes black excellence in general and the performance was so powerful. Absolutely stunning.

One of the best live performances has made it's way to Netflix finally, This performance was Beyonce's big return to the stage, you see glimpses of her months before the festival, learning the steps, trying to regain her old body (after giving birth to twins), overlooking every single thing the other 200 people on stage with her are doing and even the stage itself. You hear Beyonce talking to herself on a recording device mixed with the all the BTS footage, and you realize what a big challenge this whole performance was and how much of a perfectionist she is. The setlist is quite good, we finally get to experience songs from Lemonade in HD and most of her hits are there.
The film also contains footage from both weekends of Coachella (hence the outfits switching) with appearances on stage from her sister Solange, Jay-z and a Destiny's Child reunion.
No more scavenging for illegal links for the Coachella performance, Beyonce has finally given it to us.
